Sunday Kid's Zone in the Church
We have a kid's zone in the church where we provide activity sheets related to the lectionary for the day, quiet activities and toys, a table to work at and a volunteer to guide the kids when possible. The kid's zone is open from the beginning of the service to the "Peace".
For Babies and Toddlers
We have a nursery area where parents can take children to play or to have a quiet place to fall asleep.
We also have a toddler friendly area in the church in our kids zone, with toys and barriers for safety. Parents are welcome to sit with their little ones while they play and when possible we have a volunteer to assist as well.
Annual Events
Christmas Eve Pageant
For many years, the 7:00 pm service has featured the children and youth presenting the Gospel as a Nativity Pageant. This is a highlight for everyone in the congregation and has even included a ‘real’ Baby Jesus for many years.
Youth Sunday
We welcome our kids and youth to participate in the service, reading, singing and sometimes presenting an entire service together.
Lunch with Santa
This much loved annual family event has been held following the 10:00 service on the last Sunday of November or the first Sunday of December. A yummy lunch, treats, prizes and that all important visit with Santa are all included.
